Generating Kiwi Funding
A two-day workshop on strategic planning and fundraising for kiwi conservation groups.
Presented by BNZ Save the Kiwi Trust, ECOED and SGL Funding.
Efforts to save our national icon are on the increase, as more and more community-based conservation groups get involved. There are thought to be approximately 60 groups nationwide doing fantastic work, with many trying to raise funds to ensure the long-term sustainability of their project. This workshop has arisen in response to requests from groups for
assistance and advice in raising funds and getting their planning right.
If you represent one of these groups and could benefit from additional funding, this workshop will be very beneficial to you.
When: May 6 and 7, 2010
Where: Best Western Braeside Resort, Rotorua

Some people think kiwi use their beak to fight, like a sword. That would be like you head-butting someone with your nose. The kiwi’s nose is finely tuned and sensitive, second only to the condor in its ability to detect scent.
