National Kiwi Hui
The national kiwi hui will be held 24-25 May in Nelson. This year we focus on South Island species. If you work with kiwi this is a great opportunity to network with other kiwi practitioners, and to keep up to speed with current issues, events and developments in kiwi protection.

Kiwi are ratites, one of a group of largely flightless birds. DNA research suggests kiwi are linked to the Australian emu and cassowary, not the moa as previously thought. Kiwi are found only in New Zealand.
