Funding Cycle

The BNZ Save the Kiwi Trust follows the annual funding cycle described below. It is based on a funding year beginning in July.

When Description
Early March Updated funding criteria, terms and application forms made available on the BNZ Save the Kiwi website
Early March Funding applications open
Early April Funding applications close
Mid April All applications forwarded to the Kiwi Recovery Group for review
Early May Kiwi Recovery Group meets to consider all bids and agree recommendations to the BNZ Save the Kiwi Trust
Late May Copy of bids and Kiwi Recovery Group recommendations forwarded to BNZ Save the Kiwi Trust Trustees
Mid June Trustees meet to consider bids and Kiwi Recovery Group recommendations and approve final funding allocations
Late June All funding applicants notified of the outcome of their bids by the Trust’s executive director
