The Bank of New Zealand Save the Kiwi Trust follows the annual funding cycle described below.  It is based on a funding year beginning in July.

 

Early March:

Updated funding criteria, terms and application forms made available on the Bank of New Zealand save the Kiwi website

 

Mid March:

Funding applications open

 

Late April:

Funding applications close

 

Early May:

All applications forwarded to the Kiwi Recovery Group for review

 

Late May:

Kiwi Recovery Group meets to consider all bids and agree recommendations to the Bank of New Zealand Save the Kiwi Trust

 

Mid June:

Copy of bids and Kiwi Recovery Group recommendations forwarded to Bank of New Zealand Save the Kiwi Trust Trustees

 

Late June:

Trustees meet to consider bids and Kiwi Recovery Group recommendations and approve final funding allocations

 

Mid July:

All funding applicants notified of the outcome of their bids by the Trust’s executive director
